Suzuka City in Mie Prefecture is the leading producer of kabusecha in Japan. Kabusecha is a high-quality tea cultivated by covering the tea leaves with a black curtain for a certain period to block sunlight. This method reduces bitterness and enhances the umami flavor. This product uses this luxurious kabusecha, carefully extracted using Maruhachi Tea Industry Co., Ltd.'s unique technology. Made through a labor-intensive and luxurious process, this tea is priced exceptionally high, defying conventional expectations for tea. Therefore, it was necessary to convey the utmost sense of luxury in the design. The bottle's pattern features a fine motif inspired by Ise-katagami and the tea fields.
